Our team of geotechnical and structural engineers provides advice to a wide range of projects including foundation, temporary works, earthworks, soil stabilisation design across the Energy and wider infrastructure sectors. Our range of clients includes employers, contractors, consulting engineers, independent checking services, forensic engineering and research & development.


Role Description:


As a graduate civil or geotechnical engineer, you will be working closely with a talented team of engineers and scientists to help us deliver innovative and sustainable solutions. You will work on a variety of our onshore projects across the infrastructure, energy and renewables sectors.


Key responsibilities will also include:


  • Geotechnical, civil and structural design of renewable and infrastructure projects
  • Site Supervision of ground investigations
  • Site inspections and supervision of civil engineering projects
  • Technical Report Writing
  • Supporting Senior Engineers with production of design drawings, specifications and bills of quantities and tender assessments
  • Preparation of H&S documentation


Expertise required:


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in design to Eurocode standards
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Some experience in 3D design and modelling software (e.g. AutoCAD, Midas, Infodrainage, Revit) is desirable
  • A full clean driver’s licence.


Education/ Qualifications:


  • Hold a University Degree in civil engineering
  • Honours or higher degree in civil engineering
  • The candidate should be working towards chartered status in a clearly defined timescale


Additional requirements:


  • Candidates should also be highly organised and motivated individuals with effective communication skills, a good work ethic, and a commitment to technical excellence, personal efficiency, and career progression.
  • Candidates should be willing to travel to and work on remote sites away from the office location.
  • Candidates should be committed to personal development and keen to progress to chartership level in their field.
  • This role is office-based with the opportunity for remote working as agreed with your Line Manager. This policy ensures they interact with their peers and management, which is essential for their professional development.
